Why are you lying Jimmy?

Jimmy Åkesson claims that the swedish democrats are actually making progress in their policies. But what is the reality based on the facts?

The Swedish democrats have been the strongest “nationalist force” in Sweden for a long time. But what have they done to improve our conditions in Sweden?

The year I first voted for the Swedish democrats was in 2010. To be honest i feel a bit stupid about it now. At that time, the Swedish Democrats, or SD for short, was the leading nationalist party in Sweden. Their politics were pretty easy to understand and very firm:

• Deport all illegal and disrespectful immigrants.

• Protect Swedish culture.

• Work against the LGBTQ propaganda.

• Help Swedish farmers by subsidizing their businesses.

• Exit the EU.

• Stand free from alliances like the EU or NATO.

• Fight political correctness and cancel culture.

Those were the core values and the main points in SD´s political program and there were many more points but the values listed above were values that SD did not want to compromise over.

I was pretty naive when it came to SD and sadly saw this too late, although most people who vote SD don´t seem to see it now either.

The first point where SD betrayed the voters was EU. I did not think too much of this at the time. I believed in SD´s official explanation where they claimed that they wanted to change the EU from within, more in accordance with the foundation of the EU´s values. So rather than leave, transforming from within and working against the federalists, those who seek to create a unified United States of Europe and instead work for a union of free states.

In hindsight, I believe that I should have been much more vigilant here…

But back then, we were too thankful for having a nationalist party in the parliament to even question that. Under the reign of Fredrik Reinfeldt, every form of nationalism was labeled racist and Nazi so you can understand that we were a bit blindsighted by the emergence of SD…

SD then gradually started its decline. The acceptance of some LGBTQ elements started to be visible and in one party photo, two women made out. It was Paula Bieler and Hanna Wigh.

It was disturbing and many people reacted, actually more than in the EU-betrayal. It had not been that troublesome and could have been counted as just a lapse in judgment if the two women were not members of the parliament.

After that, things got progressively worse. SD started to become more of a conservative party than a nationalist one.

The climax of this and when SD really started to disappear as an alternative for me is when they decided to support and vote for a NATO-membership.

Many people got very upset at this and reacted accordingly. But then nothing happened.

The same happened recently as well when SD betrayed another very important group of voters: The hunters.

When a complete madman in the city of Örebro in Sweden gunned down over 30 thirty people, killing 11 innocent people, the reaction of SD was to ban a certain type of hunting weapons…

Then SD-voters started to make the same excuse again: Well, at least SD is the only party that actually cares about the immigration policy. This is of course a rationalisation without a basis in reality.

SD has despite its promises made no such progress:

This is a prognosis from our official Central Bureau of Statistics in Sweden. You see that apart from the really high rise In Immigration during 2012-2014(during the Reinfeldt-era) immigration has continued virtually uninterrupted.

Some Swedish democrats may resort to the common excuse of: “Well but, it is not the same type of immigration now. “

But sadly it is: According to Migrationsverket(The Bureau of Immigration in English). The number of approved citizenships was 66000 in 2024.

Only a slight drop from 2023 when the number was 68000:

And also the main groups that got citizenships were from the same old problem ridden countries as usual, such as: Afghanistan, Syria and Eritrea.

Of the approved permanent visas, over 24000 were immigration due to family, not workrelated, so called “anhöriginvandring” in Swedish.

So it is not going in the right direction at all. I just want the voters to understand that SD and Moderaterna are lying through their teeth.

There is nowadays no real distinction between SD and Moderaterna or Kristdemokraterna.

SD is an insincere party; sadly, its voters can´t see their complete transformation.
